We offer guided harbor sailing tours, private sailing charters, and overnight sailboat lodging in Portland Harbor and Casco Bay.
All experiences are small-group and led by local, USCG-certified captains.
Where do tours and charters depart from?
All trips depart from Portland Harbor, with exact meeting location details provided at the time of booking.
How long are your guided harbor tours?
Most guided harbor tours last approximately 2 hours. This allows plenty of time to sail, take in the views, and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
How many people are on each tour?
We keep group sizes intentionally small.

Overnight stays are designed for up to 2 guests, depending on the vessel
Small groups help keep experiences relaxed and personal.
Do I need sailing experience?
No sailing experience is required.
Our captains handle the boat and are happy to explain what’s happening along the way, but participation is always optional. You’re welcome to simply sit back and enjoy the sail.
What should I bring?
We recommend:

We suggest avoiding hard coolers or large bags.
Are your tours narrated?
No.
Our experiences are guided, not scripted. Captains share local knowledge, history, and stories naturally throughout the trip, shaped by the day and the interests of the group.
Will we see wildlife?
Wildlife sightings are quite common but never guaranteed.
Depending on the day, guests may see seals, seabirds, porpoises, and occasionally other marine life. Sightings vary with conditions and seasons.
Are children allowed?
Children are welcome on guided tours and private charters when accompanied by an adult. We recommend these experiences for older children who are comfortable on boats.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety always comes first.
If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for a comfortable experience, we’ll contact you to reschedule or provide a refund according to our cancellation policy.
Light wind or cloud cover does not necessarily cancel a trip.
Are your boats used for both charters and overnight stays on the same day?
Boats used for overnight stays are not used for charters on the same day, ensuring a calm, uninterrupted experience for guests staying aboard.
Is food provided?
Food is not provided on tours or charters. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks or drinks.
Overnight stays include access to onboard kitchenettes for simple meals.
